Population Est & Forecasting
With over 30 years of geodemographic experience MKP uses its SAGE© model, developing small-area current estimates and long-range forecasts of populations for agencies. We provide:

•Population, housing, employment estimates & forecasts at Traffic Analysis Zone levels for Metropolitan Planning Organizations

•Age-based enrollment forecasts for School Districts

•Population, housing and employment forecasts for neighborhoods & communities to develop needs assessments

•Assist engineering & governmental agencies with development of legally sound Social Impact Analyses & Environmental Justice Assessments

Geographic Analysis & GIS
Utilizing ESRI’s ArcView & ArcGIS systems we determine & describe geographic distribution of population, land use and/or services. We also:

•Create geographic analyses for area population distribution, env. assessments, env. justice analysis/compliance, land use, zoning, service distribution & mkt. analysis

•Work with clients to determine the geographic distribution of target population, gaps in service, demographic characteristics of target populations & the total population within service areas, the future housing/service needs and the current and future cost/benefits of service delivery

•Assist social and medical researchers and epidemiologists in geodemographic analyses, including the spatial distribution of the observations, underpinned and related to contextual data for the areas in which the observations are linked
